How We Review APKs
Every APK featured on this site is tested on real phones before any download button goes up. We do not publish a download page from screenshots or store listings alone: the current build is installed, opened and used on physical Android devices first.
Mateo Rojas leads the testing for Pelota Libre, and the checks below run again whenever a new version lands, so the version, size and compatibility details on the download page always describe the build we actually ran.
Our test phones
Testing runs on a Galaxy A55 (Android 15), Pixel 8 (Android 16), Redmi Note 13 Pro (Android 14), Infinix Note 40 Pro (Android 14) and Galaxy A13 (Android 12). The mix covers current and older Android versions, so compatibility notes reflect what most readers will experience.
What we check
Each build goes through a clean install from the downloaded file, a permissions review to confirm the app only requests access it needs, performance and battery checks during normal use, and a safety scan of the file before it is linked. Live playback stability and commentary options are then tested across real matches inside the app.
Re-checks when new versions land
When a new Pelota Libre version is released, the same checks run again on the new build. If the version number, file size or requirements change, the download page and guides are updated to match the build we tested.
